Talks connecting with Mogdiliani and Impressionists in London Exhibitions

Description

ARTISTS AND THEIR MODELS; Portraits and Nudes in Paris 1900-1920

This talk links to the current Modigliani exhibition at Tate Modern (until 2nd April)

Modigliani, Picasso and Matisse made the human figure a focus for their work. They used their relationship with the model to develop a new experience of the observer and the observed. Fiona will examine how these artists totally reframed the art of seeing and relating.
