marbled paper clays, tower form

Exhibitions: Pocklington

My current work is largely made out of different coloured paper clays that I marble and then roll out.

The clay is then “broken” in to its constituent shapes and constructed as quasi-architectonic vessels and forms. I hold back from glazed finishes but may add some slip, some oxides before the stoneware firing.
